Yemeni Parties: The Saudi Coalition Mismanaged the Battle of Marib
Al-Islah and other political parties in the city of Marib say that President Hadi's administration and his government failed miserably in managing the battle of Marib.
In a statement, Yemeni parties said: "The administration of President Hadi and his government failed miserably in managing the battle in Marib."
The parties, which entail the General People's Congress, the Yemeni Congregation for Reform, the Yemeni Socialist Party, the Nasserist Unionist People's Organization, the National Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, and the Yemeni Rashad Party, expressed their "deep surprise at the Saudi coalition’s performance and mismanagement of the task entrusted to it in the war," accusing what it called "legitimacy," a word used to address authorities, of failing to manage the battle.
The statement described the performance of Hadi's forces as "a miserable failure in fulfilling its responsibilities at various levels, politically, militarily, economically, as well as in the media at all levels locally, regionally and internationally. The failure that was reflected in the project of confronting and resisting the forces of the Sanaa government.”
The statement called for "mobilizing energies to confront the forces of the Sanaa government and prevent them from entering Marib," condemning "the failure of President Hadi's leadership and administration in the Marib Governorate," holding what it called "the leadership of "legitimacy" fully responsible for what results in that shameful betrayal."
