Defense Minister: Yemen ready for any combat against Israeli enemy
Al-Atifi notes that his country has developed equal international and regional ties that do not constitute undermining national sovereignty.
During his visit to the Special Forces training camp on Monday, the Yemeni Minister of Defense Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atifi noted that his country has developed equal international and regional ties that do not constitute undermining national sovereignty.
He said, "We have restored the right path that preserves our dignity and independence and liberates our national will from any dependence that existed as a result of policies and practices in previous periods," adding that the decision comes from the "rational, strong and courageous leadership represented by a revolution leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, a man of positions, peace and challenges".
He continued that Yemen is "ready to take any combat stance with solidity, strength, and high combat efficiency, and the aggression must only understand the nature of the stage and its entitlements..."

Earlier this month, the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement warned that it will wage a decisive battle to end the operations of the Saudi coalition and lift its restrictions imposed on Yemen, in the event that the ongoing Oman-mediated negotiations with Riyadh fail.
Your 'interest' is futile
According to the Defense Minister, the Red Sea still serves as a center of interest for foreign ambitions especially that of the Israeli occupation, whose "futility will not last long." He also added that their offensives will not be accepted, so Yemen "will communicate this concept to them in the appropriate manner and in a timely manner."
Al-Atifi further demonstrated pride in how far the units of the Fifth Military Region have gone regarding preparation, organization, construction, and military qualification, as he congratulated the Region's efforts and its units for developing high tactical combat skills.
On Sunday, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, addressed the countries of aggression, saying, "Today, our missiles and drones can reach your capitals to target your military and vital installations," vowing to redouble efforts in preparation for any potential developments, "including readiness to confront the forces of invasion and aggression.”
This comes after the Head of the Prisoners' Committee in Sanaa Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada announced on Monday that a deal was signed that includes exchanging 706 Yemeni prisoners for 181 prisoners of Saudi-led aggression.
The deal will be executed in three weeks, he added, revealing that another round of negotiations will be held after the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of implementing the rest of the agreement.
