Defying Israeli restrictions, 40,000+ attend Eid prayer at Al-Aqsa
Israeli occupation forces attacked worshippers both en route to and departing from the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Over 40,000 Muslim worshippers gathered Sunday morning at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied al-Quds to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer, despite facing extensive restrictions and harassment by Israeli occupation forces, Palestine's Wafa news agency reported.
Israeli occupation forces attacked worshippers both en route to and departing from the al-Aqsa Mosque, obstructing dozens from participating in the Eid prayer.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent mentioned that a large Israeli police force stormed the courtyards of the Mosque at the same time worshippers were arriving.

The Islamic Waqf (endowment) in occupied al-Quds confirmed that despite Israeli obstructions, over 40,000 worshippers were able to attend the prayer.
Earlier, Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque, conducted ID checks on those present, disrupted the movement of worshippers, and prevented a significant number of youths from entering the premises.
