Delegations from Palestine FM, Muslim nations to visit China on Monday
The delegation will consist of the foreign ministers from the West Bank's Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Indonesia, along with the secretary-general of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
China announced on Sunday that key foreign policy representatives from the Palestinian Authority and four Muslim-majority nations are set to visit on Monday and Tuesday.
The delegation will consist of foreign ministers from the West Bank's Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Indonesia, along with the secretary-general of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
"During the visit, China will have in-depth communication and coordination with the joint delegation of foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries to promote a de-escalation of the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict, protecting civilians, and justly resolving the Palestinian issue," Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said in a statement.

This comes in light of the ongoing massacre in Gaza led by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
According to the Gaza health ministry, the current death toll has surpassed the number 1,200, half of which are children.
After the war erupted last month, Chinese officials, including Foreign Minister Wang Yi, have called for an immediate ceasefire and the de-escalation of the situation.
China has a historical inclination towards the Palestinian cause and has endorsed a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

This also happens to come in light of a recent meeting held between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping during which Biden requested China to leverage its influence with Iran.
Iran has for weeks threatened to intervene militarily should the war on Gaza prolong.
Amid these warnings, the US expects China to contain Iran in order for "Israel" to expedite its genocide of the people of Gaza.
