Russia MoD unveils tally of 19th day of spec op in Ukraine
The Russian Defense Ministry says its forces are committed to their humanitarian obligations and announces that the Ukrainian forces bombed Donetsk with cluster munitions.
The Russian armed forces have taken full control of Melitopol and Kherson, the Russian Ministry of Defense said Monday, marking a new milestone for Moscow's advances in Ukraine as part of the former's special military operation in the country.
The Ukrainian authorities have only agreed to three out of 10 humanitarian corridors, the head of the Defense Ministry's National Defense Management Center, General Mikhail Mezentsev, revealed, adding that Kiev's decision came in light of the Russian Armed Forces taking over Melitopol and Kherson, whose residents were carrying on with their lives peacefully.
"There is not a single humanitarian corridor leading into Russia," the defense official underscored, revealing that his country agreed to 11 additional humanitarian corridors proposed by Ukraine toward Kiev, Zaporozhye, Mariupol, Lugansk, and Donetsk.
Commenting on the public Ukrainian requests to deliver alleged "humanitarian aid" to Molitopol and Kherson, Mezentsev said such requests were "ridiculous".
Russian MoD: committed to our humanitarian obligations and to ceasefire
Mezentsev also announced that Russia was fully committed to implementing its humanitarian commitments within the framework of its special military operation in Ukraine.
In a briefing, Mizintsev stressed that despite the endless stream of lies and disinformation, Russia continued to fully fulfill its humanitarian obligations, adding that the Russian armed forces were fully committed to the ceasefire regime.
The Russians still saw neo-Nazi battalions continue exploiting the ceasefire regime on a daily basis, aiming to improve their tactical positioning, restore combat readiness, and replenish equipment, while taking civilians as human shields, the Russian official revealed.
Russian MoD: Ukrainian forces bombed Donetsk with cluster munitions
The spokesperson touched on Ukraine's actions in Donetsk, announcing that 20 civilians were killed and 28 others wounded, as Kiev's forces bombed the center of Donetsk with a Tochka-U missile containing cluster munition, describing this bombing as a "war crime."
Konashenkov said there were children among those seriously injured, assuring that the injured were taken to medical centers.
Cluster munition carried by the warhead of the tactical missile proves that the goal of the bombing, which was carried out by the extremist nationalists against the city, was to kill the largest possible number of civilians.

Probably because Russian victims are not worth mentioning. That's why we're all here.

Konashenkov stressed that the decision to use this type of missile was taken, at least, at the direction of the Ukrainian army, "And it was approved by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command in Kiev. "
He also noted that such actions confirm once again the Nazi essence of the ruling regime in Ukraine today, considering that the usage of such weapons to bomb the city, where there are no army firing positions, that is, to bombard civilians, hence constituting a war crime.
Moscow knows location of all mercenaries in Ukraine
All firing positions set up by neo-Nazis in the suburbs of Mariupol have been destroyed, the Russian defense ministry revealed, declaring that Moscow knew the locations of all mercenaries in Ukraine, pledging to continue shelling their positions.
The MoD said underscored that its armed forces were adhering to the ceasefire.
Moscow announced Sunday that its forces shelled a training center for foreign mercenaries in Lvov, killing 180 and destroying a Western arms storage facility.
Marking the damage Russia is inflicting on the Ukrainian military and mercenaries, the Russian ministry of defense revealed that its forces destroyed 86 military infrastructure facilities, including three ammunition storages. Moscow's forces also downed 145 Ukrainian UAVs and destroyed 1298 tanks and armored vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine.
Last night alone, the Russian Armed Forces downed four Ukrainian UAVs, including a Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 UAV.
The Russian Defense Ministry revealed that 3,920 military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine have been disabled since the start of the military operation on February 24, 2022.
