Disabled child dies while Israeli forces block routes to hospitals
Al Mayadeen's camera has captured the moment a Palestinian father carried his 10-year-old child to the Jenin Government Hospital.
A 10-year-old disabled Palestinian child, Ahmad Mohammad al-Samar, was martyred today after his father was blocked, by Israeli occupation forces, from reaching a hospital that would have provided Ahmad with the life-saving treatment.
Ahmad's father, from the town of al-Yamoun to the west of Jenin, was seen rushing on foot to the Jenin Government Hospital, as he attempted to reach the medical facility while Israeli occupation forces blocked vehicles from entering its vicinity.

Other than the occupation's brutal bombing of the Gaza Strip since October 7, "Israel" intensifies its aggression… pic.twitter.com/OXEdXuHTsa
This development comes as Israeli occupation forces launch a wide-scale aggression on Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, which has seen occupation soldiers besiege several hospitals and hurdle the work of emergency services.
Although the occupation's military announced the commencement of its aggression on Jenin on Tuesday afternoon, occupation forces had begun raiding the Jenin refugee camp at 3:30 AM (local time).
An informed source told Al Mayadeen that this is the largest incursion into the northern West Bank city since a previous aggression early in July 2023. The incursion comes in the context of a broader Israeli policy aimed at silencing and oppressing Palestinians outside the Gaza Strip. In fact, occupation forces have committed nearly daily raids on cities and towns of the West Bank since October 7, aiming to suppress any support to the Gaza Strip. The occupation has arbitrarily detained thousands of Palestinians, executed multiple individuals, including children, and raided hundreds of homes in the occupied West Bank.
On the other hand, the Palestinian Resistance has risen up on every possible occasion, confronting occupation forces all over the West Bank, including Jenin. On Tuesday, footage emerging from the city showed an Israeli military jeep that had reportedly been severely damaged by an improvised explosive device (IED). Footage was then circulated, depicting an armored bulldozer pulling the damaged vehicle from the scene.
