Dozens injured during confrontations with IOF in West Bank, Al-Quds

Confrontations break out between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces throughout the West Bank and Al-Quds, causing dozens of injuries.

Confrontations that broke out on Friday between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and occupied Al-Quds saw dozens of Palestinians getting injured.

The IOF fired tear gas grenades at Palestinians in a bid to disperse them during confrontations in Nablus, namely in Beit Dajan and Beita.

Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that 54 Palestinians were injured during the confrontations in Beita and Beit Dajan.

Additionally, three Palestinians were injured in Qalqilya, while others sustained various injuries due to the Israeli occupation forces' deployment of tear gas grenades in far Qdoum in the city's east.

In occupied Al-Quds, the Israeli occupation forces similarly used tear gas and stun grenades against Palestinians after the holding of a funeral for martyr Youssef Moheisen in Al-Ram.

The funeral, held a day after Moheisen's martyrdom on Thursday, was widely attended by Palestinians, who mourned the young man that died after the Israeli occupation forces fatally shot him during the massacre they committed in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

In a similar vein, Palestinians took to the streets in Al-Khalil, and confrontations broke out between the resisting youth and the Israeli occupation forces, following a popular rally in solidarity with Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp.

The IOF raided the Jenin camp in occupied Palestine's West Bank early on Thursday morning, leaving residents and popular resistance groups with no choice but to defend themselves and confront the occupation forces.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that there were 20 injuries as a result of live munition from the Israeli occupation forces, including three civilians in critical condition while adding that there were dozens of suffocations as a result of the IOF raiding the Jenin Governmental Hospital.

The IOF prevented ambulance crews from accessing the Jenin Camp, opening fire directly on the emergency vehicles, the health ministry said. Meanwhile, photos and videos taken in the camp showed the level of destruction and havoc that the IOF caused all over the refugee camp.

Ramallah revealed that taking the martyrs that rose on Thursday in Jenin into account, the camp has lost 19 people due to Israeli aggression since the start of the year.

The Jenin Brigade revealed that it responded to the Israeli occupation's aggression in the refugee camp using small arms and improvised weaponry. The resistance faction that there were numerous injuries among the ranks of the IOF.

Numerous states from all over the world have rushed to condemn the Israeli occupation's aggression on Jenin, which manifested Thursday in the form of a raid on the city's renowned refugee camp, leaving 10 martyred and dozens more injured.
