At least 38 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn Sunday, according to a preliminary toll, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that numerous Palestinians have been killed and others wounded as Israeli bombardment intensifies across northern and eastern Gaza, with homes also being demolished.
Dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
At least 16 martyrs, including children and a pregnant woman, arrived at Nasser Hospital in the predawn hours, according to our correspondent.
Three Palestinian civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli forces bombed a home in the al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City, while additional casualties were reported from Israeli strikes targeting the al-Zaytoun district, southeast of the city.
Northern, eastern Gaza under Israeli fire
Meanwhile, Israeli bombardment continues to target northern and eastern Gaza, with reports of an artillery shell landing near the Hamza Mosque in the al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City. Simultaneously, Israeli forces are demolishing multiple civilian homes in eastern Gaza City.
On Saturday, Israeli forces carried out a massacre targeting civilians in al-Nuseirat's "al-Mukhayyam 2" area, as al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza confirmed receiving eight martyrs, five of them children, and 18 wounded, most of them minors.
This comes as a potential ceasefire in Gaza looms, but not without several obstacles, as "Israel" sends a delegation to Qatar to negotiate what could be a final deal.
'Israel' sends delegation to Qatar
Reuters reports that "Israel" is dispatching a delegation to Qatar for ceasefire negotiations and potential prisoner exchange talks, with an Israeli official confirming the group is scheduled to arrive in Doha on Sunday.
On Friday, July 4, Hamas presented its official response to the revised US-Qatari-Egyptian ceasefire proposal, with Palestinian officials characterizing the reply as "constructive" and signaling it could advance negotiations toward ending "Israel's" war on Gaza.
The proposed ceasefire agreement would include a phased release of captives held by Palestinian Resistance groups, starting with 8 living captives on the first day followed by additional releases on days 50 and 60, while also securing the return of 18 bodies of deceased captives.
In return, "Israel" would initiate a phased withdrawal of its forces from both northern and southern Gaza under UN and Red Crescent supervision, with technical teams establishing new boundary demarcations as humanitarian aid deliveries commence immediately.
On July 6, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that it rejected Hamas' proposal, describing it as "unacceptable", without elaborating.
