The Israeli occupation continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip on Friday, launching deadly attacks on civilian areas and camps for displaced persons. These assaults have resulted in multiple deaths and injuries across the Strip, deepening concerns of an escalating humanitarian disaster.

Nasser Medical Complex reported on Friday that an Israeli airstrike struck tents sheltering displaced individuals in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. The attack killed four people and wounded several others. In a separate incident near the Morag Axis south of the city, two people were killed and over 70 Palestinians seeking aid were injured by Israeli fire.

In another strike on the Ard al-Fara area south of Khan Younis, three civilians, including a child and a woman, were killed when tents for displaced persons were hit.

A drone strike on Deir al-Balah in central Gaza killed four people and left others injured, as "Israel" continues targeting areas housing displaced populations.

Israeli warplanes also continued their heavy bombardment of Gaza City. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an airstrike struck near the Islamic Complex in the Sabra neighborhood. Another strike targeted a building in the Rimal neighborhood near the Passport Office, resulting in deaths and injuries. The Sheikh Radwan Cemetery, located northwest of the city, was also bombed, leaving several wounded.

Artillery shelling further hit eastern parts of Gaza City, exacerbating destruction in already devastated neighborhoods.

Amid these ongoing attacks, the Government Media Office in Gaza accused the Israeli occupation of deliberately engineering chaos and starvation. It reported that 104 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on Thursday but were systematically looted under the direct supervision of the occupation forces.

The office emphasized that Gaza requires no less than 600 aid trucks daily to meet the basic humanitarian needs of over 2.4 million residents, including 1.1 million children who are being deprived of food and infant formula.

Describing the current situation as a "double crime," the media office called for the immediate and complete opening of all border crossings. It also urged that humanitarian aid be delivered under the independent supervision of the United Nations to ensure fair distribution and access.

Israeli measures do nothing to end starvation in Gaza: Aid workers

Last week on Sunday, aid organizations criticized "Israel’s" recently announced humanitarian measures in Gaza, such as daily pauses in fighting, airdropped supplies, and limited aid corridors, saying they are inadequate and fail to address the worsening famine. These steps, introduced under growing international pressure, have not eased the severe restrictions on aid access, aid workers told The Guardian.

Oxfam policy lead Bushra Khalidi called the new measures “token gestures", accusing "Israel" of using them to deflect international criticism while continuing to obstruct aid deliveries. Most border crossings remain closed, and the UN has reiterated its call for a full ceasefire and the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid to prevent further loss of life
