The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, condemned the ongoing blatant israeli violations of international law, the latest of which was the Israeli targeting of journalists and civil defense workers in the Gaza Strip and the raid on the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Abdelatty's claims came during a phone call with British National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell where he said "Egypt totally refuses the Israeli crimes in the Gaza strip and the obstruction of humanitarian aid delivery, which has led to the catastrophic deterioration of the humanitarian situation, leading to famine."
The Egyptian foreign minister also welcomed the announcement by several Western nations of their intention to recognize a Palestinian state, emphasising that "expanding the process of recognition of an independent Palestinian state based on the June 4, 1967, lines is the only path to achieving sustainable security and stability for all peoples of the region."
Seperately on August 25, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minsiter Faisal bin Farhan called on the international community to come together against the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

“The international community must reject the statement of the Israeli occupiers on their intention to establish full control over the Gaza Strip and put an end to the crimes of the Israeli occupying forces,” bin Farhan told the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah.
The Saudi minister also condemned statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, supporting the creation of a so-called "greater Israel" by way of seizing Palestine and neighboring Arab territories.
"Israel" continues to bomb Gaza
Ten Palestinians were martyred by the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, targeting displaced civilians and residential areas.
Separately, five others were killed in al-Qarara in the southern Gaza Strip and a drone strike targeted a tent in central Gaza, which killed two and injured others.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, at least 62,819 Palestinians have been killed and 158,629 others have been wounded as a result of Israel's bombardment of the besieged enclave. From March 18, 2025, to August 25, the toll stands at 10,975 martyrs and 46,588 injured.
