Israeli spy held captive in Iraq, Elizabeth Tsurkov, admitted, in a newly released video, that she worked for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, as well as the CIA, in both Iraq and Syria.

Tsurkov said, in a video published by Al Rabiaa TV, that in Iraq, she had coordinated the October 2019 demonstrations as part of her work toward "inflaming the 'Shiite-Shiite' differences."

As for Syria, Tsurkov revealed that her role was about establishing profound relations between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and “Israel” in northeastern Syria. She noted that she had visited the region in 2022 "as a CIA and Mossad agent."

In the video, the captive, attempting to portray a "peaceful Israel seeking peace with Gaza" in the face of the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, also called for an end to the Israeli aggression against Gaza, especially since it leads to "the spread of hate speech among peoples," describing Netanyahu's administration as "foolish because it leads to the continuation of the war."

She called on the families of the Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip to take action to stop the war and asked that they demand her "release" given that the government has so far put no effort into her release.

It is worth noting that earlier in July of this year, the Israeli Prime Minister's office claimed that Tsurkov had entered Iraq with her Russian passport, allegedly, at her own initiative pursuant to work on her doctorate and academic research on behalf of Princeton University in the US.

It is important to note that Tsurkov has spearheaded a media campaign against Syria's President Bashar al-Assad supporting the regime change initiative against sovereign Syria.
