Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev posted several "predictions" about 2023 on social media platforms, suggesting that "civil war will break out in the US," and Twitter CEO Elon Musk would "win the presidential election in a number of states which, after the new Civil War’s end, will have been given to the GOP."

Musk commented with a brief and direct "Epic thread!!"

The Russian official's 'predictions', posted on his telegram channel and Twitter account, were a "humble contribution" to an overview of possible future events in 2023.

Medvedev suggested that the oil price would rise to $150 a barrel, while gas price might "top $5.000 per 1.000 cubic meters."
