Events in the north 'real war', Israeli media says amid escalations
Israeli media says the escalation in combat on the Palestinian-Lebanese border is a "real war" as the rate and effects of the attacks escalate.
Israeli media on Friday described the events in northern occupied Palestine on the border with Lebanon as a "real war", noting that there was an "increase in the level of fighting."
Talking about the infiltration of drones launched by the Islamic Resistance into occupied Palestine, Israeli media stated that it is an "expression of slow but steady escalation on the northern borders."
The ability to infiltrate into the occupied Palestinian territories, not through missiles and infiltration, but through drones carrying explosives, sometimes in large quantities, is considered a "significant threat," Israeli Channel 12 said.
Channel 12's military affairs analyst, Amir Bar-Shalom, said a swarm of drones was not a weapon launched haphazardly but a carefully planned operation that has to go through an approval process.
The former head of the counterterrorism department in the National Security Council, Talia Lankri, highlighted that several developments have taken place regarding Hezbollah's capabilities since 2006, including precision weapons and the quantities of drones it can deploy.
Israeli media confirmed that settlements in the Upper al-Jalil have been abandoned to the extent that "the command center has been evacuated and relocated further to the south," noting that the evacuation of settlers from the Upper al-Jalil in this manner was "unprecedented."
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, announced the execution of an attack against Israeli occupation forces using three attack drones.
The first drone targeted the "Yiftah Kadesh" barracks (in the occupied Lebanese village of Qadas), while the other two targeted the newly established gathering east of "Hatzorit Yehoshua" (in the occupied Lebanese village of Prophet Yehoshua).
The Israeli occupation forces reported that three drones infiltrated into the airspace of occupied Palestine from Lebanon before one of them was intercepted.
Israeli media confirmed that three Israeli soldiers were wounded by gunfire in northern occupied Palestine and were airlifted by helicopter to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
later on, the Israeli media said that 5 Israeli soldiers were critically injured as a result of attack drones and ATGM attacks from Lebanon.
In a rare escalation, heavily armed confrontations erupted on Thursday evening between Islamic Resistance fighters from Lebanon and Israeli occupation forces stationed in the "Misgav Am" military base, an Al Mayadeen correspondent in southern Lebanon reported.
