Moussa Abu Marzouk, head of the Hamas’ international relations office, said that new equations are being imposed on the world order.

In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Marzouk stated that "there is an available opportunity to change the status quo in the world order for the benefit of the world's most oppressed."

The top Palestinian figure stressed that "the Israeli entity is a byproduct of Western hegemony, and any change in the world order will affect the future of this entity."

Marzouk added that the Hamas delegation's visit to Moscow came before tensions flared between “Israel" and Russia, stressing, “We have high hopes for our visit to Russia, and we are confident that Moscow will play a key role in preserving Palestinian interests.”

"Moscow is communicating with all Palestinian parties and is capable of playing a role in reunification," he said, adding that "regional understandings between Russia and the Zionist entity, most notably in Syria, will be influenced by the outcome of Russia's battle against the West," he said.

Marzouk concluded by saying that the latest Israeli escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied West Bank will be met by a policy with the slogan: 'There is no calm and no stability without Palestinian rights.'"

Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told Sputnik today, Thursday, that Russia is ready to host inter-Palestinian talks in Moscow.

Mikhail said, "I have confirmed today that if there is a desire, then we are always ready to offer a venue in Moscow for general, bilateral, or trilateral meetings at the request of the Palestinians themselves."

A leading delegation from the Hamas movement, at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, arrived in Moscow Wednesday morning.

The visit to Moscow comes at a time when Russian-Israeli relations are witnessing noticeable tension over the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

At the end of last December, a Hamas delegation made a similar visit to the capital, Moscow, and discussed with Russian officials several issues.
