The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that hospitals received the bodies of 104 martyrs, including one retrieved from under the rubble, and 399 injuries in 24 hours.
This was included in the Ministry’s daily statistical report, which confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli war since October 7, 2023, has risen to 60,138, in addition to 146,269 injuries.
Amid the ongoing war of annihilation today, the bodies of 5 killed Palestinians arrived at Al-Awda Hospital after Israeli forces targeted the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
In Gaza City, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that one person was killed and others were wounded when Israeli forces targeted a group of people near the Latin Church convent, while two more were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike near Al-Zahra School in the al-Daraj neighborhood.
Meanwhile, in Rafah, southern Gaza, a young girl was killed and seven others were wounded when Israeli forces shelled a group of civilians filling water containers in the al-Mawasi area, while in Khan Younis' al-Mawasi, a child was shot in the head by Israeli army fire near Well 19.
'Sustenance martyrs'
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that 86 Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation fire in Gaza since dawn today, including 71 who were seeking aid. Among them, 35 were martyred while waiting for aid in Zikim, northern Gaza.
On its part, the Ministry of Health revealed in its daily statistical report that 60 Palestinians were martyred and more than 195 others were injured in 24 hours, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed as they sought aid to 1,239, in addition to 8,152 injuries.
Just today, Israeli forces continued to target aid seekers, with Hamad Hospital reporting one person killed and 12 injured among those waiting for humanitarian assistance. Al-Quds Hospital reported that it received three martyrs and 133 wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinians near an aid distribution center.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent also confirmed that six people were killed and more than 40 others were wounded near an aid distribution center north of Rafah in southern Gaza, while five more were killed and others were injured when Israeli forces targeted aid seekers near the Gaza Valley bridge in the central part of the strip.
Our correspondent reported two people were killed and two others were wounded by Israeli army fire while waiting for aid near the Netzarim corridor in central Gaza. Separately, Al-Quds Hospital announced eight aid seekers were injured by Israeli gunfire at the Nabulsi intersection west of Gaza City.
In the northwestern Gaza Strip, 40 Palestinians were killed and 250 were wounded by Israeli fire as they were attempting to secure aid, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza is receiving approximately 100 casualties every day, according to its director, Dr. Mohammed Salha. In his remarks to Al Mayadeen, he warned that what should be safe humanitarian spaces have effectively become deadly danger zones for Gaza's residents.
Dr. Salha further explained to Al Mayadeen that the aid trucks occasionally arriving in Gaza meet less than 1% of the territory's actual needs, as the humanitarian crisis continues to worsen under "Israel's" ongoing blockade and military offensive.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, head of Gaza's Al-Shifa Medical Complex, stated that Israeli occupation forces carried out a new massacre targeting civilians, with 37 killed and more than 270 injured arriving at hospitals within two hours following attacks near Zikim in northern Gaza.
'Israel' tightens famine's grip on Gaza
The Health Ministry reported seven new starvation deaths in 24 hours, raising the death toll from famine and malnutrition to 154, including 89 children.
Hamas stated that Gaza is facing catastrophic famine due to an ongoing total blockade, emphasizing that this represents the most dangerous phase of genocide in over five months. The movement explained in a statement that Israeli occupation forces have weaponized food as a tool of slow death and turned aid distribution into a system of chaos and looting under the direct supervision of its military and aircraft.
The Palestinian Resistance movement stressed that the only solution to end the catastrophe in Gaza is to immediately and unconditionally break the siege and open the crossings, calling on international institutions to expose the occupation’s policy of engineered "starvation" and hold it accountable both legally and morally.
Hamas called on free peoples and human rights organizations worldwide to intensify their mobilization efforts, while on the aid front, the movement exposed how Israeli forces stage limited aid airdrops into Gaza as a publicity stunt while deliberately allowing most supplies to land in what they designate as "danger zones".
