Israeli media reported on Saturday morning that air raid sirens were once again triggered in the Metula settlement, near the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
According to Israeli reports, five rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern occupied Palestine.
An Israeli outlet stated that “three interceptor missiles were fired at aerial targets in the north,” adding that the Israeli military is assessing what was intercepted. Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Yohmor al-Shaqif in Nabatieh Governorate.
The correspondent further noted that the Israeli occupation forces fired toward the towns of Houla and Markaba. Additional shooting was carried out in the occupied Hamames hill, extending toward the outskirts of the al-Khiam plain.

Additionally, the Israeli military used machine guns in its attacks, targeting the border town of Kfar Kila.
On Thursday, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting areas in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, as well as in the south, violating the ceasefire in place since late November 2024.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the Bekaa reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the outskirts of Shmestar, west of the city of Baalbek.
In southern Lebanon, the Israeli military launched four intense airstrikes on the outskirts of Jbaa in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region.
The launch of these rockets follows the ceasefire agreement signed between Lebanon and "Israel" on November 27, 2024, which has been violated over a thousand times by the occupation.
