Former Iraq PM to be questioned over Soleimani, al-Muhandis case
Al-Kadhimi's referral to the investigation comes against the backdrop of a lawsuit filed by the head of the Huqooq Movement, Hussein Mowanes.
The Iraqi Public Prosecution announced on Sunday that former Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi has been referred to the investigation into the case of the assassination of martyrs Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Al-Kadhimi's referral to the investigation comes against the backdrop of a lawsuit filed by the head of the Huqooq Movement, Hussein Mowanes.
The lawsuit against al-Kadhimi is in his capacity as a former head of the intelligence service on charges of negligence and dereliction, and the resulting assassination of Soleimani, al-Muhandis, and their companions.
