Four terrorists affiliated with Mossad executed in Iran
The execution follows the member's detention by the Iranian intelligence forces last year.
Four terrorist agents affiliated with the Israeli Mossad spy agency were executed in Iran on Monday morning, Iranian news agencies reported.
The four terrorist Mossad-affiliated agents Mohammad Faramarzi, Mohsen Mazloum, Vafa Azarbar, and Pejman Fatehi, were executed this morning in Iran.
The terrorist agents had entered Iran illegally from Kurdistan, Iraq, and were planning to carry out an operation against the Defense Ministry facility in Najaf Abad, Isfahan province, on July 23, 2023, however, they were detained by the Iranian intelligence forces before the plan's execution.
The four terrorists were identified and recruited by a Mossad senior member of the Komala terrorist group about a year and a half before their operation, and it was revealed that they had training sessions in the military headquarters of several African countries in the presence of several Mossad officers and even the chief of Mossad, David Barnea, who attended one of the sessions for "motivating team members."
IRGC targeted Mossad headquarters in Kurdistan
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps in Iran announced on January 16 that it targeted "the headquarters of terrorist groups in the region with ballistic missiles." According to the IRGC statement, the attack came in response to "the terrorist crimes recently committed by Iran’s enemies."
The Revolution Guard specified that its target included "gatherings of terrorists linked to the terrorist operations carried out in Iran recently."
In a subsequent statement, the IRGC Guard confirmed that it had targeted "one of the main headquarters of the Israeli Mossad in the Kurdistan region of Iraq." This action was stated to be a response to the Israeli occupation entity's assassination of leaders within the Revolution Guard and the Axis of Resistance.
It explained that the targeted Mossad headquarters is "the center for developing espionage operations and planning terrorist operations in the region, especially against Iran."
