Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant said on Monday that he discussed the regional situation with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, as well as the IOF's upcoming operations against Hezbollah.
"Spoke yesterday [Sunday] evening with US Secretary of Defense following my visit to the IDF’s Northern Command. Provided the Secretary with a situation assessment of Hezbollah threats and briefed him on IDF operations to degrade Hezbollah’s ability to launch attacks against Israeli civilians," Gallant said on X.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon has intensified significantly in recent days, following the Israeli massacre in Beirut’s Southern Suburb and the terrorist attack carried out by mass-detonating pagers and two-way radios.
This morning, "Israel" stepped up its aggression on Lebanon, launching relentless terrorist strikes on southern Lebanese villages and the eastern Bekaa region, as reports continue to pour in of civilian casualties.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 100 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Monday, with 400 injured taken to hospitals as the toll continues to increase.
