Gaza appeals to Arab nations for equipped mobile field hospitals

The Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza urged Arab and Islamic countries today to introduce equipped mobile field hospitals to rescue the wounded in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The government also urged the entry of hundreds of pieces of equipment and vehicles to assist the Civil Defense in their efforts to retrieve the bodies of martyrs.
"We call on UNRWA to resume work in the Gaza and North governorates," the office said, adding that the aid that entered Gaza during the ceasefire period does not exceed 1% of the population's needs.
Holding the Israeli occupation and the international community, especially Washington, fully responsible for the aggression, the government office stated that the sector requires the entry of a thousand trucks of aid and one million liters of fuel daily.
On another account, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said the death toll from the Israeli aggression since morning has risen to 178 and the wounded to 589, most of whom are children and women.

This comes as Egyptian relief organizations reported a halt in the entry of aid and fuel trucks into Gaza through the Rafah crossing following the resumption of Israeli aggression after a week-long ceasefire.
Israeli aircraft launched a series of airstrikes targeting the Gaza Strip on Friday, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.
This comes after the ceasefire between the resistance and the Israeli regime, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, ended on Friday morning without an extension being announced.
The ceasefire came into effect on November 24th and was initially extended two times, the first time for two days and then for one day, but was not extended for a third time.
