Gaza’s Health Ministry reported on Monday that 39 Palestinians were martyred (38 newly killed and one body retrieved), with 118 others injured in the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks continue across the besieged Strip.
The total death toll since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has now risen to 50,983 martyrs and 116,274 injuries.
Since the Israeli offensive resumed on March 18, 2025, Gaza has recorded 1,613 martyrs and 4,233 injuries.
This comes as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, launching raids on various areas, resulting in more Palestinian casualties.
Israeli raids target Khan Younis, eastern Gaza
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli aircraft launched successive raids on the town of Aabasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, and bombed the al-Salam neighborhood, south of the city, killing a citizen in Qizan al-Najjar, south of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent also said that the bodies of six martyrs were recovered after the occupation bombed a house in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, this morning.
Israeli attempts to control aid, starve the people rejected
On their part, Palestinian sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues its policy of systematic siege and starvation against civilians in Gaza by preventing the entry of humanitarian aid for more than a month and a half, in clear violation of international humanitarian law.
The sources emphasized their rejection of any attempts to control aid or restrict its distribution through security companies or suspicious entities linked to the occupation, deeming such plans a false humanitarian instrumentalization of colonial agendas and vowing to counter them by all means.
They also warned against circumventing the principles of neutrality, independence, and transparency in humanitarian work, calling for "respect for international legitimacy and the rejection of any interventions outside this framework."
IOF attack yet another hospital
Dozens of patients and medical workers were forced out of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip before Israeli aircraft bombed the medical facility at dawn Sunday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
The hospital is the only remaining functional medical facility in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip after healthcare infrastructure was completely dismantled in previous Israeli attacks.
Israeli authorities issued evacuation orders shortly before bombing the hospital. Our correspondent confirmed that the bombing inflicted severe damage on the emergency building, including the reception area, laboratory, and pharmacy.
Strikes on Sunday also targeted the Saad Bin Mua'th School and the Abdullah al-Dahyan School in the neighborhoods of al-Tuffah and al-Sheikh al-Radwan, respectively.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus revealed on X that a "child died due to disruption of care."He detailed, citing the director of Gaza's Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, that "the emergency room, laboratory, emergency room X-ray machines and the pharmacy were destroyed."
"The hospital was forced to move 50 patients to other hospitals. 40 critical patients couldn't be moved," he said, noting that this is caused by "Israel" although "hospitals are protected under international humanitarian law."
"Attacks on health care must stop," he asserted, calling for an immediate ceasefire.
