The Palestinian Resistance continues to engage in battles and execute ambushes against the Israeli occupation forces across the Gaza Strip.

On the 267th day of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, the fighting concentrated in Gaza City, particularly in al-Shujaiya neighborhood.

Al-Shujaiya battles rage on for 3rd day

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Saturday that the Palestinian Resistance continues to carry out deadly ambushes targeting the occupation forces in the alleys of the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, where a major battle is taking place.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its fighters targeted with mortar shells the command center of the Israeli occupation's field operations in al-Shujaiya, as well as groupings of Israeli troops and positions of military vehicles in the area.

The Brigades, who have been highly active in Gaza City following renewed Israeli incursion into multiple neighborhoods, also directly engaged occupation forces for the third straight day, ambushing them on several axes.

Al-Quds Brigades fired a tandem rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at an Israeli Namer armored personnel carrier (APC). The anti-armor shell successfully impacted the armored vehicle, setting it ablaze and causing casualties among its crewmembers in al-Shujaiya.

The Brigades confirmed that an Israeli military rescue helicopter landed at the site of the ambush to transport the casualties to nearby hospitals.

Moreover, Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades also conducted a series of operations in al-Shujaiya, detailing one of several ambushes executed in the area.

An anti-personnel improvised explosive device (IED) was set off in the neighborhood by al-Qassam sapper units that had set up the explosive at a previous time. The explosive killed and injured several Israeli troops, who were also transported by rescue helicopters.

Al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of al-Mujahideen movement, also defended against the renewed Israeli invasion of al-Shujaiya.

Israeli forces reinforce Tal-Hawa incursion, encounter fierce Resistance

To the southwest of the al-Shujaiya, in Gaza City's Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, al-Quds Brigades fighters lured occupation forces into several ambushes. An Israeli special force attempted to infiltrate the neighborhood earlier on Friday and was met with a resounding operation, executed by al-Qassam fighters.

On Saturday, al-Quds Brigades fighters detonated two IEDs planted on a route into the neighborhood, damaging several Israeli armored vehicles. The Brigades' fighters also destroyed an Israeli armored vehicle in the neighborhood via a large IED.

Al-Qassam, al-Quds Brigades execute joint operation in Rafah

In the southernmost city of Rafah, where the Israeli occupation has focussed most of its operations, al-Qassam and al-Quds Brigades fighters shot several RPGs at two Israeli APCs and a military-grade D9 bulldozer in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in western Rafah.

Israeli casualties mount in northern Gaza

In conjunction with the Resistance's operations, Israeli media reported that a military helicopter transported two Israeli soldiers from the al-Shujaiya neighborhood to a hospital and another transported a soldier wounded in the battles to Beilinson Hospital.

Recently, the Israeli occupation's military spokesperson announced that two soldiers were killed in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday, including a Staff Sergeant from the Paratroopers Brigade's 890th Battalion and a Sergeant First Class in the 7th Armored Brigade's 77th Battalion.

In addition, an Israeli soldier from the Golani Brigade's 13th Battalion and a combat officer from the Givatai Brigade were seriously injured in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday.

On Saturday evening, Israeli media outlets reported that 22 Israeli soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours.

On Friday, the Palestinian Resistance fought fierce battles with the occupation forces in the al-Shujaiya. The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters engaged in close-quarters combat with the occupation forces, inflicting casualties on them.

Helicopters were seen evacuating the wounded Israeli soldiers.

The al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles on Baghdad Street in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with mortar shells.

Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades confirmed that its fighters eliminated an Israeli force that had been lured to a booby-trapped tunnel inside a building in the neighborhood with an unexploded F-16 missile previously fired by the Israeli occupation jets.

The Brigades said its combat engineers had worked on reusing the large missile for the operation, resulting in the building's total collapse and killing those inside it.

The al-Quds Brigades added that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli military vehicles in the al-Shujaiya with mortar and anti-armor shells.

Similarly, the al-Mujahideen Brigades confirmed that its Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli tank with an anti-armor explosive device, directly hitting it and its crew in al-Shujaiya.

In addition, the National Resistance Brigades - Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), said its fighters targeted Israeli occupation forces, west of the Tunisian Cemetery, with mortar shells and short-range rockets.

In the same context, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), announced that its fighters engaged in fierce battles with the occupation forces in the same neighborhood using various weapons.

Israeli media later reported that four Israeli soldiers were killed in the al-Shujaiya.
