Israeli war on Gaza damaged more than 500 armored vehicles: Maariv
An Israeli newspaper reported on the large sum of damages incurred by Israeli armored forces in the past months.
More than 500 Israeli armored vehicles, of various types, have been damaged since the war on Gaza was launched, the Israeli Maariv newspaper reported.
However, the extent of the damage that these vehicles were subjected to was not specified, meaning that the toll may also include completely destroyed armored vehicles.
The newspaper also reported that Israeli occupation forces have consumed much more ammunition than was initially expected in the Israeli military command's plans.
Moreover, it underlined that the world is currently witnessing an era of "long wars, without resolutions," saying that it is doubtful that the Israeli stockpile of munitions is sufficient enough to withstand such elongated wars of attrition.
Stressing that occupation troops are "physically and mentally tired," the newspaper said that in a war with Lebanon, Israeli forces "will not be at their best."
Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has complained about the number of military shipments sent by the United States to the Israeli occupation, saying that the issue should be resolved. He also explained that Israeli authorities will work on procuring weaponry in a more diverse fashion.

Hezbollah's advanced military capabilities to prove destructive
On the issue of the continuous Israeli threats of invading Lebanon, CNN said that the tasks of "taking apart Hezbollah's military power," cannot be achieved in days.
The outlet highlighted the fact that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah has long been preparing to defend against a possible war with the Israeli occupation. According to Israeli estimates cited by CNN Hezbollah owns at least 150,000 missiles and rockets.
As pointed out by the Secretary General of the Lebanese Resistance Party, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the group also has been locally producing several systems, which include unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
CNN said that Hezbollah's capabilities have surprised Israeli leaders, pointing to "systematic pinpoint strikes on Israel’s array of surveillance outposts along the border, shooting down high-flying top-of-the-line Israeli drones, and hits on Israel’s Iron Dome batteries and anti-drone defenses."

Not only that, but the US-based media giant also pointed to the footage captured by the Hoopoe drone over central Israeli-occupied cities.
Additionally, the outlet pointed to Hezbollah's vast number of highly trained and experienced fighters and the strategic positioning of these forces in areas where supplies can be made available, unlike the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The latest report by Maariv detailing the number of damaged armored vehicles in the Israeli arsenal further underscores the deterioration of Israeli military capabilities. When contrasted with reports on Hezbollah's growing strength, any Israeli invasion or attack on Lebanon is likely to result in even more disastrous outcomes for Israeli authorities and the settler-colonial project as a whole.
