In the Gaza City's Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, al-Qassam Resistance fighters engaged Israeli infantry troops from close range, dealing casualties among the soldiers. Israeli reinforcements were called to the point of confrontations and upon their arrival, al-Qassam fighters fired their rifles and a thermobaric rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at the the force, killing and injuring several.

Nearby, al-Qassam fighters also fired a locally-produced tandem RPG shell, al-Yassin, at an Israeli armored personnel carrier escorting infantry forces. Hamas' military wing said that the operation resulted in Israeli casualties.

Another group of fighters fired mortar shells at Israeli occupation forces raiding Tal al-Hawa on Saturday.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades also shelled Israeli occupation forces in the same axis with 60 mm mortar shells.

Netzarim Axis comes under rocket, mortar attacks

Just south of Tal al-Hawa, Palestinian Resistance fighters shelled the Netzarim Axis, which splits the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged territory.

The Axis has been utilized by Israeli occupation forces as a field base since the early days of the invasion of the Gaza Strip and has also been a launching point of attacks both northwards and southwards.

Al-Qassam Brigades fired several locally-produced short-range 114 mm rocket artillery shells at Israeli command and control field rooms in the Axis. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also shelled occupation forces across the Axis with large-caliber mortar shells.

to the southeast of the Axis, occupation forces also came under mortar and rocket attacks by Palestinian Resistance factions.

Specifically, in Juhr al-Deek, an agricultural zone in the eastern central Gaza Strip, al-Qassam mortar units shelled Israeli occupation forces, while the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (PFLP) Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades fired a salvo of rocket artillery shells at occupation forces in the area.

As the Israeli occupation forces issue evacuation orders to Palestinians in several neighborhoods across southern Khan Younis, in concurrence with attacks on the northeastern parts of the city, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced that its mortar unit attacked occupation forces in the area.

Al-Quds Brigades fighters also shelled, on multiple occasions, Israeli occupation forces in the same area.
