Gaza Resistance detonates building used by IOF troops in major ambush
After the Israeli occupation acknowledged its losses in the ambush in the Abasan al-Kabeera area in Khan Younis, the al-Qassam Brigades revealed the details of the operation.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced on Sunday, that its fighters targeted two Israeli military vehicles with RPG shells in the Abasan al-Kabira area in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that they detonated a building rigged with explosives that was used as an Israeli Occupation Forces stronghold, resulting in one soldier being killed and the injury of several others.
A day earlier, on March 2, Al Mayadeen's correspondent said that the Resistance has been intensely confronting occupation forces since 5 am on Friday in the southern Gaza Strip.
Field sources confirmed that Israeli military rescue helicopters evacuated a number of casualties from al-Qarara. Concurrently, Israeli occupation forces attempted to infiltrate the eastern side of the area, attempting to evacuate a number of killed and wounded soldiers.
According to our sources, Israeli attack helicopters intervened and targeted the area in which Resistance fighters confronted the evacuation team after several of the Israeli troops were injured in the operation.
Israeli media outlets confirmed the evacuation of 22 Israeli occupation soldiers injured in the Gaza Strip to Israeli hospitals via helicopters. The management of Soroka Hospital said that more than 10 helicopter landings occurred in the past few hours, transporting injured individuals from the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Resistance factions made several announcements on Friday, confirming that their fighters conducted a number of joint operations and destroyed at least one Israeli Merkava 4 tank.
