Gaza Resists Israeli invasion for 5th day dealing heavy casualties
The Resistance has confronted occupation forces targeting tens of armored vehicles on multiple axes in the South and North of the Gaza Strip.
On the 28th day of the Palestinian Resistance's defense of the Gaza Strip, fighters eliminated multiple Israeli occupation soldiers from point-blank range and destroyed several armored vehicles on axes of engagement.
Resistance deals consecutive blows to the IOF
Thermobaric rocket-propelled charges have seen more action as Resistance fighters target Israeli occupation forces positions who have taken residential buildings in the northern Gaza Strip as hiding places.
TBG-7 charges are intended to target infantry forces on the battlefield. Thermobaric charges are intended to disperse an amount of fuel in a limited area upon impact, that quickly ignites to form a scorching cloud of extreme heat and pressure. Such charges are much more energetic than other conventional explosives of equal weight.

Al-Qassam Brigades
- At 7:00 AM (local time), the Brigades' fighters surprised an occupation force to the northwest of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, killing four soldiers from point-blank range.
- Al-Qassam Brigades fighters dealt direct hits to an Israeli Merkava tank after firing four al-Yassin 105mm tandem charges at it.
- Resistance fighters also targeted three Israeli armored vehicles on the northwestern axis with al-Yassin charges.
- Mortar units targeted Israeli armored vehicles to the west of the "Erez" military site.
- An al-Qassam sniper incapacitates an occupation soldier to the north of Beit Hanoun.
- Fighters launch five thermobaric charges at IOF soldiers positioned in a building to the north of Beit Hanoun.
- At noon, al-Qassam fighters led a surprise attack on an infantry force to the west of "Erez".
- Another Israeli occupation armored vehicle was targeted with an al-Yassin charge to the north of Beit Lahia.
- A thermobaric charge was launched at another fortified building to the west of Beit Lahia.
- Mortar units shelled a convoy of armored vehicles in "Erez".
- Al-Qassam Brigades engaged occupation forces to the East of Khan Yunis.

Al-Quds Brigades
- The Brigades' special forces engaged Israeli occupation forces on Friday dawn to the east of Khan Yunis, to the northwest of Gaza, and east of Jabalia.
- Fighters planted and detonated IEDs on two armored vehicles.
- Al-Quds Brigades said that its fighters dealt confirmed casualties among enemy lines after engaging them on several axes from point-blank range.
- At 1:00 PM (local time) rocket artillery was fired on Israeli military bases and sites in "Sufa", "Holit", and "Nir Yitzhak", located in the south of the Gaza Envelope.
- The Brigades later announced that they monitored an Israeli helicopter flying out of the "Sufa" military site, indicating that casualties were recorded.
- At 2:01 PM (local time) mortar units targeted a convoy of armored vehicles near al-Kahlidi Mosque in western Gaza.
- Special forces confronted infiltrating forces to the east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
DFLP and al-Mujahideen Brigades
- The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (DFLP) National Resistance Brigades targeted Israeli occupation forces to the south of Gaza City.
- The group also targeted "Sufa" with 120 mm mortar shells on Friday noon.
- Al-Mujahideen Brigades' mortar units targeted groupings of occupation forces to the southwest of Gaza City.
- Al-Mujahideen Brigades also announced that they engaged occupation forces using anti-tank guided missiles, RPGs, and mortars.
"Israel" admits 26 soldiers and officers killed
Earlier in the day the Israeli military command announced that four of its troops were killed in the northern Gaza Strip.
The four dead IOF soldiers belong to the 401st Brigade and the 460th Brigade under the occupation's Armored Corps.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed that the commander of the 52nd Battalion, belonging to the 401st Brigade was killed in confrontations north of the Gaza Strip.
IOF admits to having 241 soldiers held captive in Gaza, and that the number is subject to change every day.
Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that the number of Israeli casualties is much larger than what has been officially announced, adding that the Resistance has destroyed what amounts to a Brigade of armored vehicles in Gaza.
The Resistance will continue to blow heavy blows to the Israeli occupation forces, as valiant fighters defend their homeland in stark resistance to a Western-Israeli war on Palestine.
