George Soros gave $300,000 in funds to Joe Biden’s ‘TikTok Army’: NYP
The New York Post has reported that influencers were tasked with spreading the White House narrative regarding Ukraine and Covid-19.
According to the New York Post, billionaire investor George Soros gave at least $300,000 last year to a group of left-wing TikTok influencers, who utilized the money to advance a variety of leftist ideologies. The group was frequently given direct orders from the White House.
According to tax documents, Soros' Open Society Foundations provided $5.5 million to the organization Accelerate Action Inc. in 2020 and 2021, which, in turn, gave at least $300,000 to Gen Z for Change in 2022.
Gen Z for Change advertises itself as a social media network of over 500 "activists, organizers, and creators." According to its website, the organization promotes abortion, gun control, liberal immigration policies, and "climate justice" through numerous social media channels.
Soros has long advocated for these causes. However, President Joe Biden has recruited Gen Z for Change to push his message and target Republican lawmakers.
Members were invited to attend an interview in 2021 with Dr. Anthony Fauci, a COVID-19 expert at the time, and were also invited to the White House last year for a briefing on Ukraine, throughout which they were asked to produce "explanatory" content on US policy and goals.
Aside from supporting social media efforts, Soros gave $128 million to Democratic candidates and groups during the midterm elections last year and handed his son control of his massive Open Society Foundations network, which funds left-wing initiatives across the US.
The foundation has put more than $32 billion into various NGOs globally since 1988, placing the elder Soros under the spotlight for what many described as the fabrication and funding of color revolutions in countries that don't align with American interests and oppose Washington's agendas in various parts of the world - namely in Eastern Europe in the 1990s and most recently the 2014 coup in Ukraine.
In July, records showed that financier George Soros and his son Alex cashed in maximum donations to US President Joe Biden's campaign during the second quarter for Biden's re-election committee.
Alex Soros gifted the Biden Victory Fund over $720,000, while his father gave in another $500,000, which combined, maxed out donations to Biden's campaign back in 2020.
The Soros' have kept tight ties with Biden, as Alex has made 14 documented visits to the White House since Biden took office in 2020, according to the New York Post.
Open Society Foundations, which aims to promote "the growth of inclusive and vibrant democracies," is also a fundraiser on behalf of the Democratic Party.
