Ghalibaf to Berri: Israeli ceasefire violations mustn't become routine
In addition to the ceasefire, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf expressed concerns about the activities of Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria, which he says were serving Israeli interests.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has cautioned against attempts by "Israel" to normalize violations of the recently brokered ceasefire in Lebanon.
Speaking in a phone call with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Saturday, Ghalibaf stressed the importance of vigilance to ensure that "Israel's" actions do not become routine.
"It is necessary to be cautious that their violation of this agreement should not turn into a routine matter," Qalibaf stated.
The ceasefire, mediated by the US and France, followed 14 months of intense battle between "Israel" and Hezbollah, which resulted in significant losses for "Israel" and a failure to achieve its military objectives.
Effective since Wednesday, the truce is set to last 60 days with the hope of achieving a permanent resolution.
Violations Amid Ceasefire
Despite the agreement, "Israel" has already breached the ceasefire multiple times.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported an Israeli strike on the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon on Saturday, which injured three people, including a child.
Ghalibaf commended Berri for his critical role in securing the truce and reiterated Iran’s steadfast support for Lebanon's government, parliament, resistance, and people.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the Lebanese government, parliament, people, and resistance, as well as their decisions," he affirmed.

Regional Concerns
In addition to the ceasefire, Ghalibaf expressed concerns about the activities of Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria, which he says were serving Israeli interests.
Recent reports indicate that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and allied factions advanced into parts of Aleppo during heavy clashes.
With the assistance of Russian airstrikes, the Syrian army has since launched counter-operations to repel the militants.
Ghalibaf emphasized the importance of managing the regional situation with "seriousness and coordination" to counter such threats.

Lebanon's Stability
Nabih Berri expressed gratitude for Iran’s unwavering support.
With Iran's support, Lebanon has successfully stood against the "brutal predator" that is "Israel", Berri said, adding that the regime is attempting to dominate the region.
He noted that southern regions, in addition to Beqaa and the Southern Suburb of Beirut, remain stable, and some 1.3 million Lebanese refugees are now returning to their homes.
