Greek platform in Karish Israeli aggression act: Hezbollah bloc
The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc says Lebanese should reject any attempt to detract from Lebanon's rights.
The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in Lebanon pointed out that the Israeli occupation enemy's use of the greek floating platform to extract gas from the disputed area in the Karish field is a condemned and rejected act of aggression.
The bloc indicated that Lebanon is officially and popularly concerned with protecting its natural resources on land and at sea, stressing that the Lebanese people are required to stand united to achieve this national goal and reject any attempt to detract from Lebanon's rights, as well as to prevent the enemy from any encroachment on the country's sovereignty.
The Lebanese bloc also called for a comprehensive and sovereign national stance that would send a strong message to the Israeli occupation and prevent it from piracy and assault on Lebanese maritime borders and national wealth.
It is noteworthy that "Israel" hired a British-Greek company to procure a platform to extract gas within three months from the Karish field, a contested maritime zone, as part of its attempt to steal Lebanon’s gas.
Part of the Karish field is located within borderline No. 29, which the Lebanese negotiators consider among Lebanese borders, and therefore the exploration work that will be carried out by this company for "Israel" is illegal.
