The Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement has launched a “global popular campaign” in response to "Israel’s" continued assaults on Lebanon and in rejection of its assassination policy and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Assassinations and war crimes
As part of the campaign, the movement issued a petition condemning Israeli violations, emphasizing that “Israel’s repeated attacks on the Lebanese people and its cowardly policy of targeting Resistance leaders through assassinations are openly backed by US and colonial powers in the region and the world.”
The Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement asserted that those responsible for these assassinations must be prosecuted “as war criminals before a people’s tribunal, should international courts remain subject to Western domination.”
UNIFIL-recorded ceasefire violations
The petition noted that the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, has failed to prevent escalation, documenting more than 3,000 Israeli aerial violations, 1,000 breaches of the Blue Line, hundreds of airstrikes and drone attacks, and nearly 750 artillery shellings, in addition to incursions north of the Blue Line and ongoing targeted killings, all recorded by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
Support for Lebanese Resistance, national sovereignty
The campaign expressed its full support for the Lebanese Resistance and state, reaffirming Lebanon’s “legitimate right to respond to Israeli aggression and to liberate occupied territory.”
It also called on all the free people of the world to organize solidarity actions with the Lebanese people and support their right to liberate their land.
