Israeli aggression against Lebanon continued late Monday night, as an Israeli occupation forces infantry unit breached the southern border and advanced into Lebanese territory near the town of May;s al-Jabal.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the force crossed approximately 100 meters past the border line and deployed between residential homes in the eastern sector of the town. The soldiers carried out a spread formation in an open area, using flashlights as they moved. The incursion was accompanied by two Israeli bulldozers, which remained near the technical fence.
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the Lebanese army discovered an Israeli espionage device east of the town of Blida, in southern Lebanon.

In a separate development, three Israeli airstrikes were carried out in eastern Lebanon. Two targeted the outskirts of the town of al-Khreibeh, while a third struck the outskirts of Brital. Although no injuries were reported, the raids sparked fires in the eastern mountain range and caused material damage to a home in Brital after shrapnel hit the building.
The latest violation adds to a growing list of Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement that has been in place since November 27, 2024.
Earlier, an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle in the southern town of Majdal Zoun, injuring one person. Another drone attack targeted the town of Beit Lif, also in southern Lebanon.
