'Guardian of Walls 2' will not stop a lone Feda’i: Israeli media
Israeli media pointed out that the car-ramming incident yesterday at the "Ramot" intersection in occupied Al-Quds "was expected," and the efforts currently being made to prevent such incidents are "nonsense".
Israeli media say that Operation "Guardian of Walls 2", which was announced by Police Minister Itamar Ben Gvir in occupied Al-Quds, will not stop a single Palestinian "Fidai", but will rather further exacerbate the situation.
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said in detail that Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ordered occupation police to prepare for "Operation Guardian of Walls 2" in occupied Al-Quds, commenting on this in the backdrop of the Al-Quds ramming operation by saying, “A protective fence will not identify the fida’i sitting in his car. There is also no indication that they will carry out an operation. Therefore, this will only fuel the situation and further prove that Ben-Gvir, who did not serve in the army, does not understand the field he is responsible for."

The newspaper pointed out that the car-ramming operation yesterday at the "Ramot" intersection in occupied Al-Quds "was expected," adding that it was not possible to prevent it, because the perpetrator, Hussein Qaraqe, was a resident of Al-Quds. There were no suspicious signs that could serve as a warning signal to the Shin Bet or the police."
The Israeli website added that the Palestinian who carried out the operation "was not armed; he rather used his car as a lethal weapon to carry out the mission," explaining that there is no doubt that yesterday's incident was inspired by the success achieved by the fida’i who killed seven illegal settlers on Friday two weeks ago.
Yedioth Ahronoth expressed its concern about these operations, saying, "The fear is that what is happening now is just a prelude to what could happen in the coming month of Ramadan."
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Friday a ramming and shooting operation in the "Ramot" neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds.
Israeli media reported that two illegal Israeli settlers were killed and five others were injured in the ramming operation into a bus stop at the entrance to the neighborhood, adding that two of the wounded were in critical condition.
The operation took place a couple of days after Israeli media reported, citing the occupation forces, that at least seven Resistance fighters were martyred in a heavy exchange of fire in Aqabat Jaber camp, near Areeha.
