More than 54% of Americans believe that "Israel" exerts too much influence over US policymaking, according to a new survey released Friday by the Tyson Group.
The poll, conducted between June 25-26 among 1,027 US adults, found that 62% of Democrats, 43% of Republicans, and 44% of Americans aged 65 and older agree that "Israel’s" influence is excessive. Only 27% of respondents disagreed with that view.
The survey also revealed that 54% of Americans believe recent U.S. airstrikes significantly set back Iran’s nuclear program, including 19% who said it was “completely obliterated.”
At the same time, 75% of respondents expressed concern that the conflict could escalate into a wider war, and 67% believe the U.S. may launch further military action against Iran.
