The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, released a statement on Friday mourning the martyrdom of al-Qassam commander Hassan Farhat (Abu Yasser), his son Hamza, and his daughter Jinan, who were killed in an Israeli raid on their home in Saida, southern Lebanon.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed faction of Hamas, also expressed their sorrow for the martyrs in their statement.
The brigades declared that the "cowardly policy of assassinations" targeting their members, both inside and outside Palestine, will not prevent them from continuing their path of resistance.
"Israel" launched an airstrike on a residential neighborhood in Saida, South Lebanon, overnight Thursday, killing the three martyrs and causing panic among civilians.
Our correspondent reported that Hamas leader Hassan Farhat was the target in Sidon. He was in an apartment on Dalaa Street in the city's center when it was bombed by an Israeli drone.
Israeli occupation forces had launched several raids since the evening on areas in southern Lebanon, including al-Naqoura, Nabatieh, and Saida, resulting in damage to the targeted areas.
As reported earlier by our correspondent, another airstrike struck the Wadi Ezza area in southern Lebanon.
