Hamas, Resistance Committees hail IRGC's retaliation against 'Israel'
The Resistance groups emphasize that Iran practiced its right of self-defense against the Israeli aggression on its consulate in Syria.
Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said on Sunday that the Iranian military attack on the Israeli occupation entity is a "natural and deserved response to the aggression against the embassy in Damascus".
In a statement, Hamas added that "the peoples of the region have the right to defend themselves against Israeli aggression", calling on all forces of the nation to continue supporting the Resistance and the wave of Al-Aqsa.
In turn, the Resistance Committees in Palestine praised the "necessary Iranian response" to the Israeli aggression against its consulate in Damascus, stressing that "it is an act of self-defense and an inherent right of the Islamic Republic guaranteed by all international laws."
The committees stated that Iran's operation confirms that "we are living a new reality and glorious historical moments" which were initiated by Operation al-Aqsa flood.

'True Promise'
The IRGC launched a massive operation late Saturday, targeting the occupation entity with dozens of missiles and drones in response to the attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus last week, which resulted in the martyrdom of seven senior IRGC advisors, including Brigadier General martyr Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the leader of the IRGC's Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.
In a statement, the IRGC said that the operation targeting "Israel," dubbed "True Promise," came following the "silence and neglect" of international organizations regarding the attack on the consulate and the assassination of its senior members.
It pointed out that the United Nations Security Council also failed to condemn the Israeli aggression or punish the entity in accordance with Article 7 of the UN Charter.

In a similar note, Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations warned Washington from interfering, emphasizing that the confrontation is between the Islamic Republic and the occupation entity.
It also pointed out on a post on X that "Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus and conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense."
"The matter can be deemed concluded. However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!
