Hamas offers condolences to IRGC: Will of the Resistance prevails
The Hamas movement extends its condolences to the IRGC for the martyrdom of Brigadier General Razi Mousavi as a result of an Israeli assassination attack in Syria.
The Hamas movement characterized the Israeli occupation's assassination of Iranian Brigadier General Razi Mousavi in Syria as a crime and a cowardly attack, stating that it constituted a "violation of the sovereignty of an Arab country."
In a statement, Hamas said, "We extend our condolences to the IRGC for the martyrdom of Mousavi," affirming that "the crimes of the Israeli occupation, both inside and outside Palestine, will not succeed in breaking the will of our people and nation, nor will they eliminate our ongoing resistance."
Resistance factions mourn IRGC commander
Yesterday, on Monday, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement strongly condemned in a statement the cowardly assassination, affirming that the martyr played a fundamental and pivotal role in supporting the resistance forces in the region and standing by the Palestinian people, their resistance, and their cause.
The statement pointed out that this sinful assassination once again confirms that the danger of this criminal entity ["Israel"] extends to the entire region, and that "Israel" is fueled by bloodshed and the dissemination of murder and criminality.
In a separate statement, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) declared that the Israeli assassination of Mousavi is an example of the Zionist entity's aggressive criminal doctrine.
The PFLP extended its sincere condolences to the Iranian leadership and people for the martyrdom of the commander, stating that he played a vital role in supporting the resistance and developing its capabilities in various fields.
'Israel' to pay price: Raisi
Earlier on Monday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi mourned on Monday the martyred Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) senior commander Seyyed Razi Mousavi hours after he was assassinated by an Israeli airstrike in Damascus, Syria.
The Iranian President pledged that the Israeli occupation would pay the price for their crime against the top IRGC advisor in Syria.
Raisi issued later in the day a statement extending his condolences to the Islamic Republic and its people, as well as Mousavi's comrades in the IRGC.
The Iranian commander was martyred after the Israeli occupation launched three missiles at his position in the suburbs of the Syrian capital of Damascus, as reported by Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
Mousavi exerted exemplary efforts in the fight against ISIS in Syria during his lengthy participation in combatting terrorism throughout the region. Commenting on Mousavi's assassination, the IRGC underlined that "there is no doubt that the Israeli occupation entity will pay the price for this crime."
