Hamas promises Palestinians, their Resistance not to budge in talks
Khalil al-Hayya says that any agreement must constitute an end to the aggression and a full Israeli withdrawal from all of Gaza.
Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas reaffirms its commitment to the agreements reached following US President Joe Biden's proposal and the UN Security Council's decision on the Gaza Strip ceasefire, Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the group's Political Bureau, said on Thursday.
"The movement does not need any new documents or proposals from any party," al-Hayya said. "The occupation must be forced to fulfill its commitments."
He stressed that any agreement must constitute an end to the aggression and a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, including the Philadelphi Corridor and the Rafah crossing.

Additionally, it should ensure the unimpeded return of displaced people to their homes without "any inspections," along with the provision of humanitarian aid, and the reconstruction of the Strip, leading up to a prisoner exchange deal, he continued.
Al-Hayya rejected "going back to square one (in the talks) or being stuck in a cycle," which would serve the goals of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He reaffirmed Hamas's rejection of Netanyahu's evasions to avoid fulfilling "Israel's" obligations of a prisoner exchange deal.
The senior Hamas official urged the US administration to abandon its "blind bias" in favor of the Israeli occupation and its "unconditional support for this fascist Israeli government."
According to al-Hayya, Hamas leadership, along with other Palestinian Resistance factions, has started communicating with mediators and countries worldwide to clarify the state of negotiations and "Israel's" stalling and evasions.
Finally, al-Hayya promised the Resistance and the Palestinian people that the movement would remain steadfast at the negotiation table "to fulfill the [aspirations] of our people," praising the bravery and will of the Resistance. He also stressed that Hamas would not allow any agreement that "legitimizes an Israeli presence in any part of Gaza or fails to guarantee the rights" of the Palestinian people.
