Hamas urges end of Gaza massacres, ethnic cleansing of north
A statement issued by Hamas calls for the end of international silence, complicity, and the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas sounded on Thursday the alarm over the Israeli occupation's ongoing genocidal crimes in Gaza, particularly its north.
Among the most recent attacks was the barbaric bombardment of Shahibar School, which shelters displaced Palestinians in the al-Shati' camp, west of Gaza City, killing 12 Palestinian civilians, as well as the raid on the Mabhouh family home in the Jabalia refugee camp, which massacred at least 30 Palestinians, overwhelmingly women and children.
"The Nazi occupation army continues to commit these massacres, which amount to ethnic cleansing, alongside a complete siege on northern Gaza, violating international laws, all while international silence borders on complicity, with full coverage from the American administration," Hamas' statement read.
The Palestinian Resistance movement demanded that the Arab countries and the international community break their silence and take urgent action to stop the massacres and heinous violations, and to hold the occupation's leaders accountable for the ongoing crimes against humanity.
Over 100K civilians trapped in north Gaza
The Israeli occupation has enforced a suffocating siege on north Gaza for 34 consecutive days. Over 100,000 people are currently in the besieged northern Gaza Strip, 60% of whom are children and women, Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal told Al Mayadeen on Sunday.
Regarding medical services in the northern part of the Strip, Basal pointed out that there is no medical treatment available there, adding that the world, which boasts about democracy, is watching Gaza being slaughtered.
Civil Defense is receiving numerous pleas from residents in northern Gaza calling for help to rescue and recover the wounded and martyrs from under the rubble, the spokesperson indicated.
However, he clarified that medical teams currently present in the North are civilian teams, adding that the Israeli occupation military does not want any medical system to operate there.
