The Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas held the United States administration directly responsible for the "monstrous" Israeli crimes committed in the Gaza Strip over the last 10 months.

It said that the continuous Israeli war crimes and acts of genocide in the besieged territory could not have continued were it not for the "support that Western capitals, headed by Washington" provided to the Israeli occupation, both politically and militarily.

"This constitutes direct complicity in this massacre and other crimes and violations," Hamas underlined in a statement.

The movement urged the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an urgent meeting to agree on effective measures to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip and the genocide of the Palestinian people. It called on these organizations to agree on decisions that would cut any political or economic ties with the Israeli occupation.

Hamas also reiterated the need to implement the clauses of the final statement of the Arab-Islamic Summit, held on November 11, 2023, in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, which called for action to break the siege on the Gaza Strip and impose the entry of Arab, Islamic, and international humanitarian aid convoys.

Hamas called on international community to take action

Hamas also directed messages to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and international courts.

It urged the UNSC to hold an urgent session and take the necessary decisions outlined in Chapter 7 of the United Nations Charter. Chapter 7 outlines the UNSC's powers to maintain peace, including economic and political sanctions and military action.

Hamas explained that the session's resolution should compel the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression on the Gaza Strip, its genocide of the Palestinian people, and its blatant violations of international law. It warned that the Israeli regime's practices threaten regional and international peace and stability.

It also said that the UNSC should "act immediately to compel the occupation to implement the council's decision, which calls for a ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the [Gaza Strip]."

As for international courts, Hamas called on the courts to activate their powers and hold the "Zionist war criminals accountable for their crimes."

"We also emphasize the need for the International Criminal Court to play its role in bringing the leaders of the occupation to trial to hold them accountable for their crimes against innocent civilians," it explained.

"We urge the establishment of an international investigative committee to confirm the full responsibility of the occupation government and military for the massacre at al-Tabieen School and all other massacres against unarmed civilians," Hamas added.

17 Palestinians killed in US-Israeli designated aid zones in Gaza

"In this context, we remind [you] that the fascist occupation government disregarded the International Court of Justice's decision to halt military operations in Rafah and to allow humanitarian aid into all areas of Gaza," the statement underlined.

Hamas also called on all free people of the world to demonstrate, protest, and take action that would support the Palestinian people's struggle.

Israeli-launched US bombs kill dozens in a single strike

The statement comes against the backdrop of a heinous Israeli crime committed in the al-Tabieen school in Gaza City's al-Daraj neighborhood. A strike utilizing three precision-guided bombs hit a large group of Palestinians performing dawn prayers on Saturday, killing at least 93 and injuring many others.

"Israel" claimed that the bombs killed 19 Palestinian Resistance members, weaponizing the claim as "justification" for killing another 74 people who were performing their internationally protected religious practices. The claim in itself was refuted by Hamas.

Meanwhile, at least 11 children and six women were killed in the strike, while many other bodies, that had been torn apart or charred by the bombs, are yet to be identified.

The Dawn Prayer massacre adds to a long list of Israeli massacres committed in the Gaza Strip in less than a year as the international community and "Israel's" allies fail to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people.

Government Media Office in Gaza calls for international investigations

The Government Media Office in Gaza has called on various media outlets that reported the Israeli occupation forces' unethical narrative to correct their information and conduct independent, professional investigations.

The office highlighted that the IOF disseminates false information, misleading information, and fabricated stories to justify the ongoing massacres and atrocities committed against civilians, displaced persons, children, and women. This includes a recent false narrative regarding the massacre at the al-Tabieen school in Gaza City.

The Government Media Office asserted that the Israeli occupation's claim of armed individuals being present at the al-Tabieen school is entirely false. Those inside the school were civilians, including children and women, the office further stressed that the Israeli occupation forces failed to substantiate its misleading narrative.

The office further pointed out that the names published by the Israeli occupation as alleged Resistance freedom fighters among the massacre victims include individuals who were actually killed elsewhere or on different dates. All of them were civilians, including university professors and government employees, with no military affiliations.

The office reminded that the Israeli claim of killing 17 "terrorists" at the Nuseirat school was refuted, revealing that 14 of the victims were children.

The statement called on the United Nations and the international community to form international investigation committees to visit Gaza, refugee and displacement centers, especially schools, to verify the compelling on-ground evidence that contradicts the Israeli narrative.

Additionally, the office urged international press and media outlets that adopted the Israeli narrative regarding this and other massacres to apologize for this significant professional error, once the Israeli falsehoods are exposed, emphasizing that no armed presence existed at the school.
