Hamas waging psych-ops on 'Israel', Israeli media says
The Israeli occupation's media outlets say Hamas is engaging in psychological warfare against "Israel" to pressure the decision-making policies.
"Israel" is going through the roughest time in its history, Israeli occupation President Isaac Herzog said on Tuesday in light of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The families of the Israelis who were taken captive by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, warned Herzog that if those captured are not returned, they will "shake Israel to the core if it calls for it, and they will not allow for them to be left in Gaza."
Israeli officials are still exchanging the blame for the capturing operations that took place, holding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accountable for the blunder that took place and led to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
"Hamas is waging psyops against Israel to pressure the decision-makers," Israeli Channel 12 military affairs correspondent Nir Dvori said.
"Israel was surprised with how all of its operational plans laid aside for Gaza became obsolete, and therefore, it is reformulating its plans and putting them up for approval", Dvori said, with a full-on bureaucratic process taking place before any plan is implemented.
"If we look at how the Americans are moving and their visits, we can see that Israel is trying to focus on Gaza without slipping into other fronts," the Israeli journalist said.

US intervening in decision-making
The United States asked the Israeli occupation to focus on Gaza and leave them to deal with Hezbollah, Israeli media reported on Thursday amid stark tension within "Israel" with Gaza and with Lebanon.
The Americans "told us 'leave Lebanon up to us. We are here. You focus on Gaza and do what you must there, and we have your back. If Hezbollah starts engaging you from Lebanon, we will take care of them'," Israeli Channel 13 military affairs correspondent Alon Ben David said Thursday.
"It seems that the US is affecting Israeli decision-making or they are seeking to offer a solution to the Israeli floundering," he said.
Furthermore, the Israeli journalist asked whether the Israeli occupation forces should conduct a preliminary operation against Hezbollah in the North. "There are many voices in the army who are saying we are ready to do so more than ever with unparalleled support from the US."
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to threaten Hezbollah and work in Gaza without being concerned about another front opening up against us," he underlined.

At the same time, many top Israeli military commanders rejected even the idea of going back to land operations in Gaza, while they also rejected the notion that air raids would lead to extensive damage to the capabilities of the Palestinian resistance due to the shortcomings of the Israeli occupation's intelligence when it comes to finding out the capabilities of the Resistance.
More recently, Israeli media reported Monday that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken participated in the Israeli war cabinet meeting after he landed in occupied Palestine earlier in the day.
According to Israeli media, Blinken's participation in the meeting shows to what extent the Americans have influence over "Israel's" decision-making process.
"One must look at President Joe Biden's visit. He was not invited, but he announced that he would visit because he wants to ensure two things: first, that Israel will not open a front in the north, and second: it will not occupy Gaza entirely, and he is keen on these two matters," Israeli Channel 13 said.
"What is happening today is utterly different from what Israel is used to on the military and civilian levels; we are using the term 'war routine', and this is what we are living today," Dvori underlined.
"After 11 days of war, Hamas is still launching rockets at central Israel, and their capacity to shell major cities is still there, with 6,500 rockets fired from Gaza since last Saturday," a Fox News correspondent said.
