Hamas politburo member Osama Hamdan said that the Palestinian people remain patient despite the occupation's massacres and revealed that Israeli captives will not be released except under the conditions of the resistance.

Hamdan called on the UN under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief coordinator in Gaza to overcome American pressure and ensure that aid is delivered to the strip.

Addressing the people of Palestine in a press conference on Wednesday, Hamdan commended all the heroes of Gaza in a "blessed message to our people, the men of Al-Qassam Brigades, the Al-Quds Brigades, and all the heroes in Gaza."

Touching on the Israeli crimes in Gaza, Hamdan detailed that the Israeli occupation, who he referred to as Nazis, have not left a single crime not committed against women and children, recalling their destruction of hospitals and schools.

"Our people in the Gaza Strip are facing death, and the situation is catastrophic, and whoever did not die from the bombing died from hunger and disease," he stressed.

He expressed the hope that the newly appointed UN under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief coordinator in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, would be able to overcome pressure from "Israel" and the US and ensure the delivery of aid to Gaza.

He also stressed that the occupation is yet to achieve any goals in its ruthless 3-month onslaught against the people of Gaza, adding that his captives would not be returned unless under the conditions of the resistance, welcoming any "Arab or Islamic initiative that stops the Israeli aggression."

Hamdan pointed out that “the American administration continues all forms of support for the Zionist enemy,” and “it does so to serve it, which makes it its partner.”

The Hamas leader also appreciated the position of the State of South Africa for submitting its case against the Israeli occupation and called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) not to submit to American pressure as well.

Hamdan: Our land will only be Palestinian, for the Palestinian people

On Sunday, Hamdan confirmed that the assassination of martyr Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri will not change or alter the Resistance's convictions, vowing that revenge from the Israeli occupation entity for its crime is definitely coming.

"The enemy will face a response from us that will teach it that the assassination will not weaken the Resistance," Hamdan said in a televised address.

However, he stressed that the greater revenge that the Resistance will take is the liberation of occupied al-Quds, ending the occupation, and the return of Palestinians to their land.

"The ones who will leave the land of Palestine and go back to where they came from will be the occupying settlers," Hamdan stressed.

"Our land will only be Palestinian, for the Palestinian people."
