Member of Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc Loyalty to the Resistance MP Hassan Fadlallah told Al Mayadeen that the current events at the border are a continuation of the defensive measures that the Resistance has been implementing since the very beginning.

Fadlallah stated that the Resistance is not neutral and naturally supports Palestine, but it is cautious about disclosing specific details to the enemy regarding any of its actions.

He emphasized that their position is meticulously considered, taking various scenarios and possibilities into account. Fadlallah noted that despite direct or indirect communication with Western countries and parties, the Resistance has refrained from revealing their future actions.

He also underlined that the Resistance has no intention of divulging their upcoming moves to the enemy, emphasizing that this battle is the battle of the Ummah. He pointed out that the ongoing situation in Gaza constitutes Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people.

The Lebanese MP further clarified that the Resistance is very well aware of its responsibilities and what it needs to do within the context of the significant confrontation taking place in Gaza. He affirmed that the current response from the Resistance is a part of the overall picture, while the other part is linked to the events unfolding in the Gaza Strip.

Similarly, Fadlallah noted that the Resistance in Gaza is standing up to protect its people, much like the situation in the West Bank and al-Quds. He emphasized that in Gaza, the enemy is encountering resolute resistance, and the Palestinian people will stand firm with the support of the Resistance groups.

He warned the enemy to be cautious and not miscalculate, whether in the Gaza Strip or Lebanon. He added, "We are prepared for all possibilities and all options, but we do not want to reveal the subsequent steps as that is part of the battle."

Elsewhere in his remarks, Fadlallah stated, "American warships are nothing new to us, and we've emphasized that we do not pay attention to threats and are committed to defending our country." He further affirmed, "We are at the heart of this battle."

Fadlallah stated that the occupation failed to enter Bint Jbeil in 2006 after 33 days of aggression and destruction. He believes that a similar situation will be repeated in Gaza and added, "According to our intelligence, the Palestinians are still resilient, and we see this in the precision of targeting settlements."

He explained that the enemy is attempting to portray itself as a victim and is deliberately concealing its significant losses. He reiterated, "We are ready for any scenario, and the developments are unfolding, with the enemy knowing how to start but not where it will end."
