Hezbollah attacks with 100+ rockets, 250K Israelis hide in shelters
Israeli media confirms that an American native was wounded by a Hezbollah anti-tank missile targeting Zar'it.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - launched over 100 rockets toward the Israeli occupation on Sunday, forcing a quarter of a million settlers to seek safety in shelters, as part of the movement's response against the Israeli assassinations of its officials in Lebanon, according to Israeli media.
While sirens continue sounding in the occupied north, as confirmed by several Israeli media outlets, an Axios correspondent in occupied Palestine, Barack Ravid, reported, citing US officials, that an American citizen was wounded in Hezbollah's rocket attack against an Israeli military site on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
The reason for the American's presence in the closed military location remains unknown, the correspondent said.
Israeli media further revealed that the US citizen's wounds were extensive and serious, and were sustained as a result of an anti-tank missile launched from Lebanon toward Zar'it.
Adar Gitsis, Israeli Channel 12's correspondent in northern occupied Palestine, additionally confirmed that the targeting took place at 2 p.m., on Sunday noon, and that the wounded individual was American, not an Israeli settler with American nationality, adding that the "difficult" incident wounded two others, who were transported to a hospital in Nahariya.
Israeli media also stated that the number of wounded increased to four, with two being in critical condition.
