The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced that its fighters carried out Wednesday four operations against Israeli military sites and troops along the border with occupied Palestine.

Hezbollah reiterated that the operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli attacks on the steadfast southern Lebanese villages and civilian homes.

The operations came as follows:

1- At 8:15 am, Hezbollah fighters engaged an assembly of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Biranit barracks with rockets and artillery shells.

2- At 5:00 pm, Hezbollah fighters bombarded a building in the Metulla settlement with appropriate weapons.

3- At 5:35 pm, Hezbollah fighters struck two houses in the Shtula settlement with guided missiles, achieving precise hits.

4- At 5:50 pm, Hezbollah fighters attacked the Roueissat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills with rocket weapons.

Hezbollah also mourned on Wednesday its Resistance fighter Waheed Toufayli (Abu Haidar), from the town of Deir al-Zahrani in southern Lebanon, who was martyred while carrying out his combat duty on the path toward liberating occupied al-Quds.

'Netanyahu crushed the north, left it at Hezbollah's mercy': Former IOF deputy chief of staff

In a related context, Yair Golan, reserve major general and former Israeli deputy chief of staff, took a jab at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following the anti-tank missile strike that targeted the Metulla settlement in northern occupied Palestine.

Hezbollah released footage of its Resistance fighters bombarding and destroying buildings sheltering Israeli soldiers at the Metulla settlement on Monday.

"While Netanyahu babbles about an operation of no strategic importance in Rafah, Metulla is under fire from Hezbollah, cities and towns are being abandoned, as the terrible failure intensifies," the Israeli Channel 12 quoted Golan as saying.

Golan stressed that "Netanyahu crushed the north and left it at Hezbollah's mercy."

Meanwhile, Channel 12's correspondent in the North, Guy Varon, reported that 12 anti-tank missiles were fired in the past day at Metulla, four of which hit one house.

Varon mentioned that northern settlers have "spent an additional [Jewish] holiday outside" their settlements, dozens were evacuated, while 150,000 of al-Jalil settlers are still in a war zone.

According to the correspondent, these settlers don't feel that the Israeli government is working to change the situation, as not a single plan has been presented until now.

He added that the northern settlers fear one day they would be told they could return to their settlement without the situation being resolved.
