Hezbollah strongly condemned in a statement the terrorist attack that targeted a crowd of worshipers, during the opening of a church, in the city of Al-Suqaylabiyah in Hama countryside, on Sunday.
The statement said, "The terrorist attack is an affirmation of the terrorist groups' continued crimes against civilians and their efforts to destabilize Syria," adding, "We completely reject targeting places of worship, whose safety and preservation we are keen on, and we have offered our youth as martyrs in defense of them."

Local sources said that "a suicide drone equipped with a missile crashed near a gathering during a religious ceremony for the opening of the Hagia Sophia Church, followed by the fall of another drone directly behind it."
Furthermore, the sources detailed that "Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham launched the two drones equipped with cameras and small-sized missiles, which directly targeted the religious gathering."
As a result of the attack, two people have martyred, and several others were wounded.
