In an interview with Al Mayadeen CEO, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, in the third episode of "40 and Beyond", Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that the US was interested in the neutralization of Hezbollah from the equation [on the ground].

According to the resistance leader, the US trying to convince Hezbollah that the Shebaa Farms are not worth a conflict and that the issue can be solved through diplomacy.

Sayyed Nasrallah explained the US offers revolved around finding a solution to the issue of Lebanese prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons, recognizing the political role of Hezbollah, and the inclusion of Hezbollah into the Lebanese government, as well as providing the resistance with huge financial aid to rebuild the liberated areas and the less fortunate ones.

In return, Sayyed Nasrallah continues, the US even offered to remove Hezbollah from its “terror list” and grant the resistance "a respected international standing."

The Lebanese leader also revealed that the US asked Hezbollah to abandon supporting the Palestinian Intifada with money, weapons, training, and expertise.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah pointed out that the resistance firmly rejected the US offers because it wanted to help the Palestinian people liberate their land, and due to the never-ending Israeli threat to Lebanon.

According to Sayyed Nasrallah, after September 11 events, Washington repeated its offers after declaring war against the organizations that it classifies as terrorists.
