Hezbollah strongly condemned the United States' aggression against peaceful nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling the attack a “savage and treacherous assault” that poses “the greatest threat to regional and international security.”

In a statement released Sunday, the Lebanese Resistance group described the US strike as a clear and serious violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the Geneva Conventions, which explicitly prohibit targeting nuclear facilities.

US aggression 'reckless and uncalculated escalation'

The group warned that such actions could expand the scope of war and drag the region into dangerous and unpredictable consequences unless checked by strong international opposition.

Hezbollah denounced the aggression as a “reckless and uncalculated escalation,” urging international actors to respond firmly.

Trump accused of using aggression to impose dominance

Blaming US President Donald Trump directly, Hezbollah accused him of deception and of using military force against peaceful nuclear infrastructure as a way to force Iran and other sovereign states into submission.

According to the group, the assault was meant to break Iran’s resistance and assert American dominance through force.

US compensating for Israeli failure

Hezbollah asserted that the American strike was a cover-up for the Israeli regime’s failure to neutralize Iran’s retaliatory missile operations.

The statement indicated that the US aggression “is an attempt to compensate for Israel’s failure,” which confirms “the full partnership between America and the Zionist entity in the crimes unfolding across the region—from Gaza and Lebanon to Syria and Yemen.”

Attack will only strengthen Iran’s resolve

The group reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has long been committed to ensuring regional stability and security.

However, in the face of ongoing aggression, Hezbollah declared that Iran “has every right to respond and to defend its land, people, and sovereignty.”

The attack, the group warned, will only strengthen Iran’s resolve to resist and achieve victory.

Call for global solidarity

Hezbollah expressed full solidarity with the Iranian people and leadership, voicing confidence in Iran’s ability to confront both American and Israeli aggression.

“These attacks will not halt Iran’s progress and development,” the group stated.

Finally, Hezbollah called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as free peoples around the world, to stand with Iran.

It also urged the United Nations and international bodies, especially the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities in the face of what it described as an assault that nearly triggered a nuclear catastrophe threatening tens of thousands of lives.
