The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - issued a statement strongly condemning the continued "reckless and escalating" US-Israeli aggression on Syria, Gaza, Yemen, and Lebanon.
According to the Resistance movement Hezbollah, the aggression destabilizes and threatens the security of the region's nations, violates their sovereignty, and drains their capabilities and sources of strength in an attempt to subjugate them to the requirements of its hegemony and the interests of the Israeli entity, seeking dominance over the region.
In light of the escalation, Hezbollah highlighted the following:
-The repeated airstrikes and ongoing incursions into Syria aim at weakening the Syrian state and preventing it from recovering, constituting a blatant violation of its sovereignty.
-The Syrian people's heroic resistance against the Israeli incursion, which resulted in martyrs and wounded, is proof that the Syrian people’s choice has always been and remains one of confrontation and resistance against the occupier, affirming that the spirit of resistance is deeply rooted in their hearts.
-The continuation of the brutal American aggression against Yemen and the massacres committed against its people are a desperate attempt to deter the steadfast Yemeni people from supporting Gaza and the Resistance in Palestine and to pressure them into halting their heroic operations.
-Just as in Syria and Yemen, the escalating Israeli occupation’s brutal aggression against Palestine and Gaza, its ongoing genocide and displacement plots carried out before the eyes of the complicit international community, exposes the enemy’s inability to break the will of resistance and the steadfast spirit of the Palestinian people.
-In this context, the Israeli occupation’s persistent attacks on Lebanon, along with continuous US pressures that cover up these crimes and impose Israeli conditions through envoys, are part of the same aggressive scheme.
-This dangerous escalation places all the region’s countries and peoples before a historic responsibility, compelling them to unite in confronting these perilous schemes that threaten everyone.
-The equation today is clear: either confront or surrender to the enemy’s plans, which seek nothing but to subjugate the region, bring it to its knees, and dominate its people and resources.
Hezbollah condemned the crimes and reaffirmed its full solidarity with "our sisterly Syria, beloved Yemen, proud Palestine, and their peoples."
"We call upon all free people of the world to raise their voices loudly against this unjust aggression and to pressure the international community to put an end to these repeated attacks. The blatant American complicity threatens regional peace and stability and paves the way for further escalation and aggressive wars in the region amidst suspicious international silence," the statement read.
The aggression on the region
This comes as the American and Israeli aggressions continue targeting Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine.
Today, Israeli media outlets reported that Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz participated in a Passover celebration with employees of the Ministry of Security. In his address to the ministry staff, Katz stated, "Israel will not allow Syria to threaten its settlements and security interests.
IOF forces will continue to operate on Mount Hermon, the security zone, and the buffer zone to defend the settlements in the Golan Heights and the occupied al-Jalil from any potential threats. This includes actions such as yesterday's strike against terrorists threatening our forces."
Moreover, the New York Times on Monday revealed that the Zionist regime is entrenching its military presence in both Syria and Lebanon, building a network of outposts and infrastructure that signals a potential long-term occupation of neighboring lands.
The report notes that the occupation claims these deployments are a defensive measure. Yet, no timeline has been provided for their withdrawal, and instead, construction projects suggest an enduring military foothold in areas where resistance groups continue to challenge Israeli expansionism.
Satellite imagery, eyewitness accounts, and UN sources confirm the establishment of fortified positions, roads, surveillance towers, and military housing in illegally occupied lands. In the Syrian town of Jubata al-Khashab, heavy machinery has been spotted alongside new barriers and defensive walls, underscoring the scale of the ongoing land grab.
Meanwhile, the genocide in Gaza and the US aggression on Yemen continue unabated.
