The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah conducted various operations against invading Israeli occupation forces, as well as attacks on Israeli occupied cities and settlements, on Monday.

Khaibar series of operations

Hezbollah's fighters also conducted two operations, adding to the "Khaibar Series" of operations, which came in response to the Israeli aggression and massacres against civilians in Lebanon.

With the announcemnet of these two operations, the Islamic Resistance has executed 41 operations, attacking similar targets with strategic weapons, in line with the "Khaibar Series".

The first operation saw Hezbollah fighters launch a one-way attack drone at the Yodfat Company, which specializes in weapons production, located to the southeast of occupied Akka. The drone, launched at 7:05 am, dealt a precise hit to the intended target.

The second operation saw Hezbollah fighters fire a salvo of precision-guided rockets at the Stella Maris naval base in western occupied Haifa, at 4:00 pm.

Direct confrontations

The Resistance also announced two operations on direct confrontations with invading Israeli forces, near the border towns of southern Lebanon.

In Kfar Kila, a Lebanese town opposite the Metulla settlement, located on the tip of the al-Jalil Panhandle, Hezbollah fighters engaged an invading force, dealing heavy casualties among them.

As an Israeli mechanized force, which includes military vehicles and infantry, attempted to infiltrate the town toward higher ground on its northern side, Hezbollah fighters executed a pre-planned ambush at 4:00 am, on Monday dawn.

Resistance fighters armed with light weapons and rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers ambushed the force, setting two military vehicles ablaze and killing and injuring several Israeli soldiers.

On Monday evening, Israeli occupation forces initiated a new infiltration route toward the border town of Khiam, which is located to the northeast of Kfar Kila and the north of Metulla.

After firing several salvos of rocket artillery shells at the positions of Israeli occupation forces in the area, Hezbollah announced that its anti-armor units destroyed an Israeli Mekava tank, at 9:45 pm, in the al-Hamames area, located to the south of Khiam.

The Merkava tank was struck with an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), killing and injuring its crew members. This also marks the 39th Merkava tank destroyed by Hezbollah, during the period of the Israeli ground invasion of southern Lebanon.
