Hezbollah ops. room dissects latest operations against Israeli forces
The Operations Room of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon says the Israeli occupation military has not been able to establish full control over or occupy any village in the forward edge of South Lebanon.
The Operations Room of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced on Monday that its fighters have inflicted significant losses on the Israeli military in both personnel and equipment across multiple fronts, stretching from the forward edge Southern Lebanese villages to Israeli positions deep within occupied Palestine.
Hezbollah highlighted that recent days have seen a notable intensification in daily operations by its fighters, with a record-breaking 48 operations reported on Friday, October 25, 2024, since the onset of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
On the ground, Hezbollah confirmed that Israeli forces have made repeated attempts to advance toward southern Lebanese villages along the Lebanese-Palestinian border in an attempt to occupy and control them. However, Islamic Resistance said its fighters have repelled these incursions along several axes:
1. 146th Brigade Operational Area (Naqoura to Marwahin):
Hezbollah explained that Israeli forces attempted to infiltrate southern neighborhoods in Marwahin, al-Dhayrah, Yarin, and al-Matmourah, seeking to booby-trap homes and prevent their use by Resistance fighters. The occupation forces also ignited forested areas between Alma al-Shaab and al-Dhayrah.
In response, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted Israeli forces’ groupings and routes with appropriate weapons and inflicted heavy losses that compelled the Israeli command to scale back the 146th Brigade’s deployments on this axis.
2. 36th Brigade Operational Area (Ramya to Rmeish and Ayta al-Shaab to Aitaroun):
Hezbollah mentioned that after monitoring Israeli movements near Ayta al-Shaab, Islamic Resistance fighters ambushed an Israeli force advancing toward Abu al-Laban hill on Thursday, October 24. The point-blank engagement, which continued until the afternoon, resulted in the killing of over five Israeli soldiers and injuries to dozens more.
In another engagement, Resistance fighters repelled an attempted Israeli advance toward Aitaroun's central area with heavy rocket and artillery fire, resulting in numerous casualties, which forced Israeli troops to retreat.
3. 91st Brigade Operational Area (Blida to Houla):
Hezbollah said its fighters lured an Israeli force, accompanied by a Merkava tank, toward Houla's eastern neighborhoods. The Israeli tank was destroyed with a guided missile launched by the Resistance fighters, resulting in casualties among its crew members and other troops entrenched behind it. The Resistance’s fire support units further targeted Israeli concentrations and groupings on the outskirts and in some neighborhoods of the town.
4. 98th Brigade Operational Area (Markaba to occupied Ghajar):
The Islamic Resistance noted that recent days saw its fighters destroy several Israeli tanks attempting to advance toward Odaisseh. The Resistance also directed heavy fire on Israeli groupings near Houla, Markaba, and Rub al-Thalathin, with focused strikes on Israeli forces near the Fatima Gate along the Lebanese-Palestinian border opposite Kfar Kila.
5. 210th Brigade Operational Area (occupied Ghajar to occupied Shebaa Farms):
Hezbollah said its fighters targeted, with rocket artillery, numerous Israeli advances in the outskirts of Kfar Chouba and Shebaa, where Israeli forces sought to gain control over strategic heights. The group said the Israeli troops set fires in nearby forests out of fear of any offensive operations by the Resistance.
Hezbollah’s Operations Room confirmed that as of this report, the Israeli occupation military has not been able to establish full control over or occupy any village in the forward edge of southern Lebanon.
Additional units
Moving on to detail the operations of its additional units, Hezbollah said its Rocket Force continues to target Israeli troop concentrations in military sites and barracks along the Lebanese-Palestinian border, extending to military, strategic, and security bases deep within occupied Palestine using various types of rockets, including precision-guided ones that are being deployed for the first time.
According to the Islamic Resistance, the Rocket Force executed 103 launches over the past four days.
As for its Air Force, Hezbollah said it continues to target Israeli bases from the Lebanese-Palestinian border to deep within occupied Palestine.
Since September 17, 2024, the Air Force has launched 65 operations involving over 150 drones of varying types, with 30 operations occurring in the past four days and reaching depths up to 145 kilometers, including Tel Aviv's southern suburbs.
Meanwhile, from October 24 to October 28, the Islamic Resistance’s Air Defense Unit launched five surface-to-air missiles targeting Israeli aircraft in southern Lebanon's skies.
According to Hezbollah, the Israeli military has incurred losses exceeding 90 fatalities and over 750 injuries among its ranks since the onset of the so-called “ground maneuver in the South.”
In addition, 38 Merkava tanks, four bulldozers, one Hummer, one armored vehicle, and one personnel carrier were destroyed by fighters of the Islamic Resistance, alongside the downing of three Hermes 450 drones and one Hermes 900.
Elsewhere, Hezbollah concluded its statement by noting that this tally excludes other Israeli losses in military bases, sites, barracks, settlements, and cities in occupied territories.
